It’s always a good idea to show your love for the people you love, as often as possible. So what happens when you love your wife, but she loves Charlie, from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and you both absolutely love the show? Easy – you plan an anniversary trip to Philly, and buy her a “This is America” t-shirt!
That plan worked for me! We had a great time in Philly, too. We mapped out our own “Sunny” tour of Philadelphia, tramping around Old City, where a lot of the show has been filmed. We walked by Philadelphia Java Company, where “the Waitress” works, saw Bleu Martini, where Dee brought the girls for “Sex and the City” night, and the highlight – we hit up the new restaurant owned by Mac and Dee (real life husband and wife). No cast sightings, but the mac and cheese was delicious – “Mac’s Macs” - and the kicker? A door marked “Pirate” in the bar! All of you Sunny fans out there will get that…
